I've tried to help you
and I have seen other 06 Mustang GT's with the same exact alarm some of which were ordered
and ones at the houston auto show
If you for some wierd reason don't have the lightbelow your dash oh well maybe you don't have a factory one

I never claim to be a know-it-all. But this I do know.
You are the only one here and ANYWHERE that claims they have that and its factory.
A factory install for one would be much cleaner.
I don't want the 10 bucks, but just want you to realize where your alarm came from

Looks aftermarket to me. Not the standard OEManti-theft system 99% of us have.

You may have the Active Anti-Theft System (Perimeter Inclination & Intrusion Alarms). This is an option. Basiclly more alarms. Mine will go off if I lock the doors, windows down and walk by, without touching the car. Just a slow walk. The dam Perimeter senors make the alarm go off. I believe the snenors are next to the Map lights. They look like little Microphones and/or Speakers.

so is there anyway to adjust the real factory alarm? i could take a damn baseball bat to my car and it wont go off and no i didnt try!

well assuming ya'll are right (which I bet you have the Passive anti-theft) then no there is no way to adjust it

the light on your dash is only for the passive anti-theft which is about useless
go see your dealer
