Default Anyone running aftermarket clutch?

Question for anyone running an aftermarket clutch. I just had the dealer install a spec 3+ super twin clutch rated at 1500 BHP. I am having a difficult time starting out in first. I basically haveZERO friction zone whatsoever and I go from almost stalling, to millimeters of releasing it and it fully engages and launches me. Is this normal?? I guess I am used to my 1-2"s of friction zone on the stock clutch, and this new clutch is only 100's of a millimeter toleranceit seems. Is it me or does it sound out of spec, or just needs to be broken in?

Thanks,
Keith

Yeah thats normal... Live with it, or get more horsepower so that it's not as apparent!

you will get use to it, but I know that wasnt the answer you were looking for.
I think thats why I'm going with the Spec stage 2

Thanks guys. Hopefully it will get a little softer over this weekends cruise.
I do plan on getting more power throughseeking out FI's/heads and a smaller pulley in my near future. I can't lead my ponies to the water and not let them drink can I ???......

well you did just put it in (didn't you toast your old clutch earlier in the week). Let us know how it breaks in after the cruise and some driving.

I have a KB on the way and I'm thinking a new clutch won't be far behind it.
