Currently serving the back end of a 15 month tour in Iraq and trying not to go CRAZY [&:] I just ordered and purchased my new 08 GT Premium Stang. Vista Blue with the GT Appearance Package and the interior upgrade package. I really really wanted it with the white racing stripes but they didn't have that as an option for overseas ordering. They did have it for the 07 but because I ordered my car through the Military's New Car Sales program it was out of the question. I would have rather had the racing stripes than the GT Appearance Package. But I won't get to see my car until April and until then where is a good place to order racing stripes from? Thank you all and I have been checking the galleries and yourrides look great!!

My personal opinion would be to leave the stripes off.

Every mustang I see on the road and the internet has stripes. To me they look cheap even if they're painted on.
Do something original.
It's your car though so you decide.

Thanks for the site!! I was looking at the pics on there....comparing the white and silver and I really don't know which I like more...Honestly, I just can't wait to get home. Very Excited to get home and drive the car. But I will have to put the racing stripes on, put a new spoiler on there, and the window quarter louvers. But the silver is more subtle and think compliments the blue very nicely, The white is definitely in your face!! All opinions are welcome!! Thanks again for your help and I will be ordering from them.

Yeah after looking at the pics the white is too in your face!! You made a believer out of me. The silver does look better.

Silver on the Blue (if you have to) is the way to go. I love the Vista Blue without stripes, but if you are gonna, go with silver. Classy VS Common. Also try ponybuilder.com for other mods. Can't put stripes on from there, but you can put lot's of other stuff on and check it out before you get back and then make the call. Might even give you an idea of how nice it could look without the stripes.

i ordered my stang overseas while i was in turkey from military car sales also. i ran into the same problem you are. for some reason when buying from them you cant get stripes and the GT appearance package. BUT what i didn't know is that you CAN call the dealer where its being shipped and tell them to do it once it arrives from the factory. also you cant get tint so when your talking with the dealer tell them to add that too so you don't have to lose a day of driving your new stang, it will be waiting for you ready to ride.
