RE: i think im going to cry
I was afraid of that...
I didn't want to be an @sshole whenI heard that it was out of the Country.
I had nothing to back it up so I shut up.
Still had that feeling though...
I relly hope that it's not gonna turn into a nightmare for you.
I call BS on the check excuse.
The check's already therebut they mightneed your signature. Insurances write it 3 different ways
1-Made to your name if you own the car free and clear.
2- Made to your name and the said body shop, that way, you get the car fixed for sure (in their eyes).
3- If you make payments on the car still, they'll put your name and the lienholder on it.
Also, the check should bemailed to you regardless and right away.
Call Geico and sort this one out.
I could be wrong but that's how it works here in FL.

I'm an adjuster and I can't believe that gieco is taking so long. The company I work for had similar damage fixed on another car I had within a week. That is from the day of the accident! They replaced the front bumper fenders and hood and headlights. I know you are 1400 miles away but damn man, it's a simple comprehensive loss, it's not like gieco has to go and get the deers side of the story!

That's what I said man.
I hope you're not with Geico but I had the worst experience with them.
The comercials are cool but that's where it stops.
They treat their policy holder like cr@p. I had adjuster coming to the shop that were cool but were not allowed to do the right thing!!
It's not bad every single time, but close.
