Default cold air and ticking

Well, now that it's been getting cold here in Chicago, my stang is really starting to come alive. Seriously...it has a LOT more power...it's amazing. Just like when you first turn on your car, before the engine fully heats up, how it has a ton more power. Anyway, one thing I noticed...

There is a slight ticking noise under hard acceleration when the engine is cold. Is this normal?

Anyways, enjoy the colder weather guys! These stangs really come alive!!!

you shouldnt be driving it hard until the engine is warm to begin with really.....this is where most damage to the engine occurs....give it time to warm up then be the snot out of it.
