https://mustangforums.com/m_3942040/tm.htm some info I gathered up...
Also, anything that increases the Volumetric efficiency of the engine, lessens the rotating mass that the engine has to turn to get the power from the piston to the drive tires, or decreases weight will give some kind of improvement in mileage. So things like Pulley's and Lightweight Driveshafts, lighter wheels and just removing the extra crap out of your car will make the engine work less, and if you can manage to keep your foot lighter on the pedal and not abuse the extra power (but who can blame ya if ya do) will help mileage. Tunes can be setup to run slightly leaner and improve mileage as well.

If you are looking for free things to do, read above change driving habits.
If you want so spend some cash to get added performance and mpg you should think about;
CAI + tune = Get 1-1.5 mpg better with B ama 87 perf tune (same as stock with 93 torque + 93 Race)
UDP
Aluminum D/S
Remove back seat and Spare
Lightweight battery
Lightweight wheels
Never done all this but I would assume if you add this to the driver mod you could see 25-30mpg if you were real careful and go faster when you want.

RE: how can i get more mpg?
Spending cash, especially a lot (Driveshaft, lightweight wheels etc) to save gas seems a little paradoxic.
Drive it more sedately is the only answer, there is no magic bullet to significantly increase gas mileage other than that. But you know, if you're starting to worry about Gas mileage on the 'Stang,I think that, with respect, it's time to get off the rollercoaster andswap itin fora 4-banger.

Why not have both performance and fuel economy? Most here claim that it is either one or the other, but both is possible and I am proof of that unless you don't think 27+ mpg is a good thing. I like to get the most bang for the buck at the fuel pumps, then when the urge hits me, romp on it. Best of both worlds.
