Other than changing your driving habits? These have worked sometimes on some cars:
1. Higher octane fuel, higher octane tune.
2. Chin spoiler (if you are on the highway a lot).

RE: how can i get more mpg?

That's about it. I think the cost of gears outweighs the benefit for the gas you'll save. Same thing with higher octane fuel. Raise the tire pressure as high as you can stand (without exceeding the max. tire pressure, of course) and be easy on the gas. If there were any reasonable mods that could give you a return on fuel economy, you'd know about it.
I don't know if you have a trip computer, but if you do, you may notice that MPG maxes out at about 55-60 mph. That's a little rough for me, since my pony doesn't feel like it's at cruise speed until about 80. Also, a less restrictive air filter and/or exhaust might buy you another 1 or 2 mpg.
CAI/tune. I was getting 18.4-18.8 mpg before the tune Now I'm getting 19.9-20.3
give or take. And....I drive it a little harder now too (the tune is so much fun).
