Default Advice on Buying Gauges!!!

Anyone use or hear of "Glow Gauges" that I saw on Ebay???

They offer a three (3) gauge tripod A pillar mount for about 24.99 and your choice of these gauges which cost about 36.99 each...

Are they any good???

Yes, I know they are not the expensive variety but will they do???

Any opinions???

Dave

You get what you pay for IMO that is way to cheap.

They are very cheap with black face backgrounds, I bought some and the lights in them were real crap, you can see them ok at night, but the daytime view was terrible. Bottom line is, you get what you pay for!

If you want "Glow" gauges, go buy the AutoMeter ones, the C2's. They're kinda "ricey", but they're more functional than the eBay Glow Gauges. They're also more expensive...more accurate...more reliable...The list goes on.

Glowing gauges aren't exactly my cup of tea, but then, I've always tried to keep my cars sleepers, and glowing gauges, monster tachs on the dash, etc. tend to scream out that there's either a guy who's trying to make his car LOOK fast, or a guy who really HAS a fast car and you don't want to try it because his car will eat you alive.
