Anyone know where I can get the cover for the engine that says prowed by ford. you can see it in pre production GT's.

I saw this in the April issue of MM&FF. They said it was one of the cost cutting things (among many others) that Ford had to do. They also said that none where available aftermarket yet but would be in the future.

I want it too. I felt cheated somehow, when I opened my hood. I was expecting to see this:

Come on Ford, how much did it really save? I would have paid another $25 bucks for my 05 for this option! Massed produced, it couldn't have costed Ford that much? Plastic, no way, chrome, maybe?

Im glad its not on the cars. I think its ugly. Good thing you can add if aftermarket if you want to display the obvious...
