Default son of a b!tch!!!!

ok, so i park my car in my company's parking garage on a daily basis, and i'm turning left (around a cement post) and i make sure the left side mirror clears, and it does. so, thinking im good, i continue the turn, until the car stops. wtf? i look back and the left rear wheelwell (that part above the wheel that sticks out a bit) is touching the cement post. f|_|ck!!! so i back up, and sure enough, i scraped an area about 3" tall and 4" wide. damnit!!! i think it went down past the paint, because in one spot i can see brown (?!) and the pole was white so the rest of the scrapes are white, which MAYBE i can buff out or something. any suggestions?

If you are down to brown, no buffin there.[:@]
Its body shop time for you before the rust sets in.[:'(]
Did the same thing with my first pick-up truck. Glad
I learned on an old POS instead of a nice car. The rear
end pivots around the rear tire contact patch and you
gotta swing it around accordingly when transversing
tight corners around poles and such. Just clearing the
front side mirror wont cut it. Maybe set up some plastic
cones in a empty parking lot and practice your sharp turns?
Cones dont leave scars.

A tough lesson to learn,I feel for you, especially having done the exact same thing on my M3 Bimmer.I don't know what made me feel sick the most, the [relatively light] damage or the "Doh!!!!" feeling
