Default $300.00 ALINGNMENT ???

Wife's car needs an alignment and Stealership is trying to tell me it's going to be $300 because of the labor involved. Does this even sound like it makes sense?

Wow, I would hope you could find it cheaper than that!

Something's not right. My local Ford dealer charges $60 for a front end alignment.

I'd like to know your dealers name just so I can call and ask why it's so much.

if they have to align the caster and camber it may run that high, but even that seems expensive. a regular front end alignment should only run around $75.

It's that high because personal lubricants are included in the price. I would suggest finding another place.

A four wheel Alignment should be no more then $85. Add maybe $15 at most to rebalance each tire, so $85 plus $60 is $145.Even that sounds too high. Go to a different dealer.

Are we assuming this is a Mustang? I've noticed a lot of threads in the 05-08 section that belong in Off Topic or somewhere else. If it's a mustang we're talking about, that's WAY rediculous. If it's something like a BMW or Mercedes, who knows.
