Ya but I wish ford would have made the delete an option
its only a $100 part but requires a tune so if you don't have a tuner yet then to install the delete its $400 but you get a tune

Ford put the plates there for a little fuel savings
Ford racing made the deletes because they knew people that want power would want to get rid of them

it may only be a little power but people want it

There is now way ford would make this an option.....ford and tune just dont go together so any mod that requires a tune will never be an option IMO

9 HP? Lets be honest, are they really worth it?

Reminds me when the ZR1 crowd used to disable this feature so the butterflies were open all the time, but not removed.

Yes, I actaully got 10 whp for mine...I had before and after dyno's because I wanted a custom tune. So $8.90 per Hp is good math for me.

even at 140...that is a good deal when you look at $/hp.....its a little better than pulleys.....if you are only doing bolt ons and have no desire to go FI then its a great, just like the pulleys, o/r pipe or DS....all are pretty good for the money.
