New gear and speedo off...
Besides a tune what can I do to fix this? Is there a part or and adjustment?
I know I should tune but I don't have the money now and Don't want the speedo of as bad as it is. Any constructive help would be great, thanks in advace! |
RE: New gear and speedo off...
Dude you have to get a tune or your gears will destroy themselves and you will probably need a new rear end! Don't drive your car at all!

haha....dont make him worry like that!

Sadly you do need a tuner. It's not like the older models where you can just swap out the gear on the speed sensor. Damn electronics.

RE: New gear and speedo off...
the dealer could adjust it for you as well... but get a CAI/tuner you'll love the gears even more!!

RE: New gear and speedo off...
the dealers cant/wont adjust it...many have tried

Hate to be repetitive....but the only way to adjust the Speedometer, to match the gears is with a tuner. I suggest SCT.

BTW, did you have these gears put in at a Shop. If so, I'm sure they have the ability to change your gears setting.
