haha holy crap thats like buying another car! i bet that its nice but just a lil outa my price range, haha. I would like to actually work on the engine that I got if thats possible just bore out my cylinders and put in some new forged steel parts. Not sure the exacts of changing out internals but thats for a few months down the road... with all I have learned in my first 2 months on this forum I will know a lot more by then.

True and false
Saleen's 302 cu/in 3v......you gotta pay $$ to play
most aftermarket forged-piston short-blocks are so noisy from piston slap that the detonation sensors must be switched off. The PJ engine's tight-fitting pistons are quiet enough to work with the stock knock sensors, so they're reinstalled and used to provide Ford's excellent antidetonation protection from low-octane fuel, hot weather, and so on.

u wanna stay under 296ci so you can keep your knock sensors. I few guys here learned that the hard way.

All the money they put in r/d you'd think they'd have them for sale...

Its not worth it. If you spend a ton of money and beat him now, he'll just charge up his CC and beat you right back. Its a pointless battle.
