LOL funny......unfortunately There isn't a BP dealer next to me.......I use Shell, oddly enough the local Chevron 1/4 mile up the street makes me ping, and BAD. I used to use Chevron/Techron, but Shell is more convenient for me, and I don't knock or ping with it.

Shell. BP likes to add ethanol.. My car runs fine with BP.. but I get noticeably poor gas milage with it.
My car seem to like Shell 93 octane.

BP sells AMACO fuel around here (NW MO) with no ethanol. I've used about everything and haven't noticed any difference. FYI, a fuel transport friend says most fuel in a geographical location comes from the same pipeline terminal (each company doesn't have their own pipeline) and the only difference is the branding (Shell, BP, Phillips etc)additives.

and we have 3 refinerys right here (legaly not in town for tax reasons) exxon, chevron, and a shell refinery
and not to far a BP and some others

but the tanker trucks have to fill up near dallas for exxon because of a wierd requirement (none of them fill up anywhere near the refinery)
Ya the no name or non-corp stations get whatever but the corp stations get from their refinery

I know it says BP on the gas cap, but I've noticed more consistancy (better performance) when I put Shell in the car. Thanks for the Top Tier information.
