17k for an 04? the dealers here are letting them go as low as 16k and aren't having any luck. meanwhile, the 05 v6s are going for about 21k. i'd rather save a few bucks than get bragging rights on owning the new fad.

I just get tired of the constant 2005 put down. The new and used car lots are loaded with the older body style Mustangs because nobody wants one. Envy isn't a pretty thing. If you really want a 2005 that bad, why not just buy one. Yes, I own a brand new 2005.

that's just it, i didn't want one. when i got mine, i could have placed an order for an 05, but i just don't like the way they look. for now, i prefer the 99-04. sorry for hijacking, as you were!

You shouldn't feel bad. Silly question. Your ride looks cool, I've got the 05 but when all is said and done they are all Mustangs, just stangs of different era's. I just don't get why there is so much venom in some of these posts. Geez, we're all just trying to enjoy our rides.

I ordered and will be soon driving a new 05 gt but that doesn't mean i'd rather have a cobra (03-04s or one the 06-07s!!!), because i would but it's more than my budget.

What the point of you coming on here just to trash people? I dont care if you like you car or not, but dont just walk up to someone and trash him casue hes got a98 GT. Hell im sure caspers 98 would destroy your car, and then some. I dont have anything aginst the 05s, personally i like them, but i dont like with peoplelike you walk here and just start casuing trouble

Did any of you read Casper's Sig??? "98 GT, its the slowest car on earth. I get beat by Honda Civics and especially 05 GT's" I really think sportster was playing off of that. I don't think he was trying to be a jerk or anything.

I used to have a sig that stated all my mods. Then i started talking to 05 owners on this forum, and at my dealership. They think... well. You can read my post i put up in this forum about 05 owners. And still after all my mods think they can whoop me cause i dont have PI heads. lol. And if i did get PI heads, they would get an even worse *** whopping. But i dont go around saying stuff like that. And i have never been beaten by a honda or a 05 Gt. lol. I put that in there making fun of all the people who think the 96-98 GT's are always going to be slow and you cant mod them. lol.
