I'm on #5.. Ford has been doing this for years you guys just noticed it. They could have put a bigger pushrod motor in their 96 mustang GT but they decided to go OHC. The innovation behind that moved has progressed us to where that technology is today. Sales matter but you are dealing with industry.. Industry won't be taken down by a bad quarter.... Only a bigger corporation can really bring ford down...

My 07 Mustang is the first Ford I’ve owned since the 70s. The popularity, performance, design, quality and cheap price were all positive aspects of my decision. The biggest turn off, the cars I saw with ricer junk stuck on them. Bad for the Mustang image.

this is my2nd and 3rd Stang. I miss my 93 5.0 LX FOX soooo much. She was stolen from me in 2000 and the guy totaled it Then a friend of mine got a 93 5.0 LX fox almost Identical to mine except he doesnt have the 2 1/2 cowl hood like I did.He let me drive it for a weekend while I helped him repaint his new weekend get away house in the mountins, and the lust for another mustang was back and hit me hard.

Now Im on my 2nd and 3rd mustangs. (see sig) But My how I love my 07 and 08 so much. I love to just go out and drive just for the hell of it.

I think Ford should bring back the old mustangs from the 60's and so on, update engine, tranny, susp and so on and they will have a car that will out sell anything. Same goes for chevy and dodge. I say bring back the old kings but with newer, better, faster technology and they wil have some real blockbusters on their hands.
