Default Yes another exhaust question....

maybe this is an amateur question BUT....

I have Borla stingers on my car with stock rear bumper.....

Im about to order the roush rear valance and roush exhaust tips that fit the valance to finish my kit...

Will my current exhaust tone change from swapping the round/rolled tips, that come on the stingers, out and welding on the roush rectangular tips tt fit into the roush rear valance?

My guess is the tone wont change since the mufflers will still be the borla stingers and only the tips will be different....

has anyone done anything like this?

Might change slightly but I doubt it. The round vs oblong could have an effect on sound.

it will be ever so slightly different. like, the tiniest change. less of a can sound, more of an open sound, better at WOT
