Actually, it could happens at the stealership when they work on your car...
Spill coffee etc... Do a half @ss clean job.
Stealership techs in my car with a coffee cup?
I would go postal right then and there.
Dont carry liquids into customers cars.....
Cant spill it if you dont have it.
Dont even dare fart on my seats.....
I had one readjust my rearview mirror
in my presence. I asked him WTF he
needed to see behind him pulling into
the service bay. He said it was a habit
he could not break. I readjusted it later
while leaving and pulled back a greasy
hand from the grease he left behind.
Forkin Stealerships......

yep that false bottom can be mighty handy
It sure does!

I never drink in my car and so don't have any problems with water getting under the rubber false bottom...

Why is it handy? Because that's exactly where I hide my locking wheel nut key! It fits perfectly in one of the quadrants!

It could at least stop the not so intelligent car thief from stealing your wheels. Anyone who doesn't own a S197 is not likely to know about this hidey hole!

Just don't tell anybody! ahem!

Cheers

Next time you go to your stealership, walk out back to service discreetly and watch the guys working on cars... You'll be surprised.
Of course, not all dealers are like that. A good manager won't allow that kind of crap and will check often on how every job is unfolding.
A friend of mine found a joint in his ashtray! For pit sake.[8D]
He had a radio replacement 6 months earlier at the dealer. He doesn't smoke and no one else drives his car, so the deduction was easy for him.
He wanted to sue but I told him to forget about that cause he's the one that will get arrested, especially 6 month later.

I like to leave my DVR recording thats in the trunk
and place the camera of the day on the rear parcel
shelf pointing forward with a 2.1mm wide angle lens.
I get to see lots of stuff that happens at the dealership.
Of course I let them know that they are being taped.

Yesterday when I was giving my car a little much needed detailing, i decided to take it to the interior for a while........well i cleaned the dash and gauges, cleaned the windows, seats, and vacuumed the carpet....then i looked over at my cupholders and decided to attention.....i never really cleaned it well before because i rarely put stuff in it, every now and then ill have a cup of water in with me when im on my way home from the gym to stay hydrated....well i never really noticed it before, but the cupholder to the rear has like a plastic "false bottom" that you can take out so you can fit a taller cup in it....well i was like "d@mn, never seen this before..."...then when i pulled it out, i was amazed to find that there was WATER in there like 3/4" deep!....i rarely have cups in there with me so im thinkin that water has been in there for a long time now.....so i spray like a sh!tload of glass cleaner in there and got a wad of paper towels, shoved it in there and turned it in a circular motion so i can get it all up and when i pulled it out, this is what i find...

SLIMEY, BROWN, ALGEA LOOKING CRAP! (AND NO I DIDNT SMELL IT LOL)

So after being disgusted by that, I cleaned the cupholder out really well and then turned my attention over to the plastic "false bottom" piece and it looks like this....

I was curious as to what that stuff on the bottom of it was...i thought it was water since im sure that was the part in the water, so i touched it and turned out it was more of that slimey ****.....

So i guess the moral of the story is, if you havent checked your cupholders in a while, might as well check emand make sure u dont got some g@y fungus growing in them.....

Its a round peg square hole scenario man. Clean your **** regularly or its going to look like that crap you cleaned out of there. You obviously are not house broken.
