I would guess its 400 Crank HP
how much would you guess 350RWHP be at the crank

I think there are a few N/Ahere that have reached 350 RWHP on a stick

and 400 is to clean of a number so you think thats overrating or under rating?

yeah, with cai/tune, udp's. exhaust and some cams you should be over 350 from what i have heard, which all together should be at or around 3k, so for the extra 17k you save by not buying the bullitt think what else you could do

You guys are being way too optimistic. The last Bullitt was not that much more powerfull than a standard GT. Ford put more emphasis on handling than power.

+1 if it has the 32 valves.

It's like bringing back the Terminators with the Bullit badge.
If Ford is smart, that would be the thing to do... Not quite the GT500 but much better than the GT.
Priced at 40K, Ford will make money if mass produced.

If it's only an appearance package with 30 hp, then I'll say : stick it up your *****.

You do realize that the MSRP of the GT500 is only a little over $40k. They would need to make this fabled 400hp Bullitt closer to $35k for it to be a success. I think it will be prices between the regular GT and the Shelby GT. MSRP that is, who knows that stealerships will mark them up to.

There is no need for a Mustang with 400hp right now. It has nothing to compete with.

You have a point.
My guess is that, if this happens, the GT500 MSRP will go up. Thus, stealerships will have to be less greedy in order to sell the GT500 because a lot of those potential buyers (me included) will go to the Bullit and the bird goes to the dealers.

Off topic but good to know...
Mercedes and Ferrari caped their MSRP. Dealers were jacking up prices and the manufacturers said:"You stop it now or you'll be selling Toyotas".
Ford need to do the same thing so they make more money

Some Ferrari Enzo's are selling used for close to double the original MSRPs when new.

Although you can not get a Shelby GT500 for the sticker price. Everyone wants 15 to 20K more than sticker.

I tried. I found a 07 Cobra - Convertible and offered 55k cash and they said, Nope!

Ended up with my Steeda instead! I am not disappointed!
