You'll find out that Ford uses Standard and Metric fasteners on our cars.
Sometimes, to hold the same part in place.
WTF, pick one kind and call it a day.

RE: I am almost ashamed to ask this...
You dont need a 5mm bit or a #9 bit.
Buy a 13/64s. Thats a .203 and close enough.
Actually a hole bigger than the recommended
5mm will make life easier when it comes time
to put the scoop on the hood and find the holes
with all those (7) clip/studs and the inprecise
method of location them on the scoop.
Been there, done that.
Having trouble with drill bit selection
and you are going to install the scoop
yourself? I just recently put one on my
stang and there are many more things
that are tougher than what drill bit to use.
The roush instructions are lacking in
details. Hope you dont overtighten the
nuts and distort the hood surface.[:@]
And the adhesion promoter for the
3M VHB tape is a must!
And be careful not to strip out those
nuts that hold the insert in.

Everything listed above is right on. Better to have the hole a little bigger than smaller. I went with just a fraction smaller and it was a pain in the a$$ the get the screws lined up and then pushed through. I actually had to go back on two of them and make the hole larger. After it was done, I wished I had gone a little larger on all of the holes, would have made life easier. Make sure to cover the engine to catch the shavings and clean all of the shavings out of the hole.
Good luck.

Try J. Golcher Drills & Bits in Hialeah (not too far from where you are - Miramar right?).He sells the 5mm metal drill bits and every other size - tell him Rogan sent you and ask to see his "new socks" - he'll know what you mean .
