Who has he best set of painted or aftermarket yellow calipers?
I hate the idea as much as anyone else, but I'm looking to do something to the brakes of my car to make it a little more interesting. What I hate is because of the high price of brake kits, I'm left with two options. I can either paint my current calipers a nice darker and deep yellow, or I can get a set of GT500 Brembo bakes, which will run $1300 and paint those yellow too. No matter how you slice it, it's still a factory painted caliper, but whatever. Anyway what I'm looking for is for pictures from guys who have done what I want to do, I need to see how well painting calipers can turn out, and maybe get some tips on the process.
I'm looking for an effect that's as similar as possible to what Porsche does with it's ceramic brake option. http://i14.ebayimg.com/01/a/000/77/ba/5b3a_4.JPG http://i10.ebayimg.com/06/a/000/77/ba/5b2a_4.JPG |

Paint them yourself. The Duplicolor caliper paint kit is very good.

This is the only pictures I have of my painted calipers. Not the best or close-up, but you can see them.

I have a couple more somewhere but can't seem to find them. I ended up repainting themred but the yellow looked good while I had it.
