I have that exact 3dCarbon rear bumper cover...

I peeled about 2 inches of the red backing off the 3M tape so that I could get a hold of it. Then I put it in position and used masking tape to hold it in place against the car. Then I screwed the screws into the wheel well. Then I grabbed a hold of the end of the red backing and peeled it all out, exposing the 3M tape to the car. I pushed all over to make sure it was all stuck on there, and that's it. It was pretty easy and I did it alone.

Be sure to sue 3M adhesion promoter. You should have gotten some with your bumper.
