Ok, so most of you know what i've done to my car. There have been problems tuning it and tying up the loose ends for the past month. I have an STS single kit and it should do 500rwhp easy but the car was really struggling to make power and no one could figure it out. So Rick at STS changed the turbines, checked up and down on that car and nothing...until!! today. Let me add this was all at his expense because everyone thought it was the turbo kit. I was getting irritated and even said to Rick i think i may switch setups because this one wasnt working for me. So i was getting mad at him and it wasnt his fault. I thought my car was too much for the turbo or something.

So what happened was the knock sensors were plugged into the wrong plug and the intake something or other was plugged into the knock sensors. Both looked like the same wires and connections and plugged into the wrong ones fine. Both right next to eachother too. I didnt really get everything but the jist of itis basically theconnection that was supposed to be plugged in opens something up to let the air flow. But instead we were trying to shove 15lbs of boost through a tiny 1 inch or smaller hole.

All the tuning, work, and troubleshooting down the drain. needs to be re-tuned blah blah blah and GUESS WHAT?! Im gonna end up having to pay for all this time. thats a couple grand in labor, shop, tuning, etc... I bent over and my car slid right in!

Now thats some **** to rant about!!!

Since I don't know what you've done to your car it's hard for me to judge if that's some **** to rant about, but sounds like a major expense though

It wasn't the Mustang's fault, or the engine's fault. The rant should have been about the person or persons who f***ed it up. When you bent over it wasn't the car that you felt!

Sounds confusing, but it's good you got it figured out. But who, and when were those connectors swaped?

If it were me I would be so thrilled that the problem is figuredout and it was such a simple fix, that I wouldn't waste another minute thinking about it the problem it's behind you now. I've spent months chasing down problems never to find the answer you succeed and figured it, now go out and enjoy the car, before the next problem pops up.
