Drive the car like you're going to drive it for the rest of your time with it. Don't baby it because the seals won't set properly to be run at high rpms. Vary the engine speed, run it hard a little but don't go nuts. You'll be sorry if you don't rev it over 4k for 1500 miles. What do you think an engine or an engine computer is going to do when you start reving the **** out of it when you hit 1501 miles?

No, it's not going to be used to it and it's going to create problems. Let the car know how you are going to drive it.

I'm pretty sure that it was a stolen car. I feel bad for the owner. Hard to believe no police showed up through all that noise.
