Thinking about trading my stang

RE: Thinking about trading my stang
No sympathy from me, here, YoungRed. "I'm 16, daddy bought me a car that I rarely drive but have blinged-out with TVs (but don't hate, yo), and I want a new GT500, which Daddy will also buy."IMHO, this is pretty messed up, but I can't even blame YoungRed. What the heck is the dad thinking equipping his 16-year old child with such hardware? In addition, what kind of sense of the value of things, work, etc. is this imparting to the lad? Admittely I am older, 38, but it's times like these that I am thankful that my first car was a beater Toyota. For those of you younger folks that worked hard and paid for your toys yourselves, bravo. But all too often I encounter kids that have been handed expensive cars de rigeur, before they're old enough and mature enough to realize the value of money or working for something.Just my .02Robert
