Default Moisture on inside of trunk lid...

Hey guys,

Anyone come across this? Last night it got down to the coldest it's been lately, in the upper 30's, and when I went out to my car this morning, the inside of the trunk lid had moisture all on it. Is this normal? What could the problem be? It kind of threw me for a loop, I have no clue why moisture would have formed there, it wasn't even raining!

Thanks..

Condensation.
Probably because your trunk lid is not insulated. Maybe it doesn't seal properly?

That's what I'm thinking. Is there anyway that the dealer can find out if that's the problem? I'm still under warranty..

i'm wondering if it's just the
warm, moist air, from inside the
cabin, making it's way to the
trunk area and condensing on the
lid

Well I've had the car for over a year now and never had this problem before. It's bad enough that the moisture must have dripped all down on the carpeting inside in the trunk because it is all moist too.

make sure your back seats are locked
in place, a small gap would allow
warm air to get back there
