What kind of hoods are in yalls sigs? My wife is looking.

It sucks, but you're lucky. The bumper got spared and the hood is fixable(if interested).
A new OEM hood cost roughly $700. All better lookingaftermarket ones are cheaper (average$450/550).
If you have $1000 deductible, get out of here!
If you have $500 or less, then, it's an insurance job, providing your record isn't insane.

Call your insurance company and ask them how to handle it.
Good luck.

Something must be wrong with your ebrake. I can see the car popping out of gear, but my ebrake would still prevent it from rolling. I always leave mine in 1st with the ebrake on.

Well mine is a 3D Carbon hood made for them by Keystone. They just finally released it too.
Sorry to get off topic, but how would you rate Keysone's quality? I'm very close to pulling the trigger on their King of the Road hood.

EDIT: For anyone that's looking you can see Keystone hoods at www.keystonerestyling.com

JEGS and Summit both sell them under the "Good Hood" brand.

I'd get the GT500 style hood, with the heat extractor things and such.

yea i alwyas leave it in gear + e-break when i turn off the engine..but i know whats its like when this happens,my truck that i sold to get my stang(s-10 xtreme) eventually had a problem with the e-break not always catching when i pressed the pedal down..one day i got out to run into a rite aid for 2min,forgot to leave it in gear, pressed the pedal and walked away. When i came back out of the store i headed to my truck and froze,it was gone and i thought it had been stolen in the 2min i was inside, then i caught something out the corner of my eye,it was my truck about 100 feet away from where i parked it,back end had jumped a curb and went into a garden that is around the parking lot(my truck had a 2inch drop all around too..)i was embarassed as hell,so i jumped in,slowly drove it off the curb then sped home as fast as could

amazing part is,it went RIGHT BETWEEN 2 other parked cars without hitting either of them,no damage was caused to anything but some flowers

That incline isn't much of a gradient at all. Are you sure it was in gear? 1st gear alone is pretty good at stopping a rollaway even on quite a sharp hill
