Default Exhaust question for 06 GT...

I installed headers, x-pipes, etc, but no catalytic converters on my 2006 GT. I have hi-flow cats to install, but have questions regarding placement of oxygen sensors. Any ideas where they go and how to install them?

They should go fore and aft of your converters. Four of them total. Mine are in the collectors of my long tube headers and the rear are in the H-pipe behind my converters. You'll also need some O2 extenders because the cables won't be long enough with the new setup. If you don't have the O2 "bungs" already in your pipes you'll have to plumb some. If your not comfortable with that, take it to an exhaust shop and they can plumb them inand put some extenders on. Shouldn't be too expensive, less than $100...

Thanks. That's what I thought. Just wanted to make sure.
