Roush rear springs and shocks.
$300 MossMustang
3/4" drop in the rear to level things out a bit.
Ground grabbin traction, little stiffer (thats what she said).
1 hour install.

hahah i cant tell at all by lookin at the pic. i dont know if its my comp but i cant see the tires.
See how the side rocker panel is now parallel to the ground?
No nasty rake no more. I'll stuff the openings with larger tires
and rims in the future. No $$ to burn here at this moment.

The rake isn't nasty. Its bad ***. Just to much room in the fenders.

I meant nasty as in too much room in the rearfender opening.
The rake is great if your rear tires are larger than your front
ones. Same size tires, then set that puppy level. Better weight
transfer to the rear tires on launch.
Kinda reminds me of those Novas with the rear end jacked way up.

If you drop your car much more than an inch, you will mess up the stock suspension geometry.
I`m not sure that "messed up" is the operative term but, yes you should check the alignment after lowering
Eibach Prokit (claim a drop of1.4" front /1.5" rear) Had the alignment checked today, spec is 3/4 degree negative.
Readings were 1 5/8 neg left & 1 1/2 neg right. Even this variance of only 3/4 degree gave the frontwheels a "knock kneed" appearance. ( Negative camber is "in" at the top of the tire"
Best to be sure and have it checked. IMO

Edit, so since it cost &120 to make the camber adjustable + $60 for alignment, the total cost with springs = $275

OK, I am sure that F1Fan will chime in soon with details, but my understanding is that you do need to adjust your suspension geometry after lowering your car more than 1". You can do search for the threads by Wildbill and F1Fan on this subject for the details.

I have Eibachs Sportline Kit, advertised at 1.4 in front and 1.9 in the rear. The ride can be a kidney buster if you are not careful, and you will find driveways and speedbumps that you need to avoid. My facia and trim are GT stock, but if you have any aftermarket kits it will probably make your car only marginally driveable. I have noticed a significant reduction in body roll, more so than my friends '06 with Eibach's Pro-line kit. That being said, I have also noticed increased understeer, and adverse tire wear due to the lack of camber adjustment, misaligned panhard bar, etc. I have new Toiko D-Specs, camber plates, Steeda's bumsteerkit and panhard bar/brace on order to start correcting the geometry.

Short verison, unless you like a rough ride, stay away from the big (1.5+) drops IMO. I think they look great, but I am going to have dropped another couple of grand into my suspension to fix some of the problems that they are causing. For me this is not a big issue as I am getting into Autocross anyway and needed the additional suspension work, but you may not want to go that route. If you are going for looks, get a Proline Kit and read up on what suspension adjustments you need to make for a DD (if any).

Thanks to F1Fan for the enlightenment [8D]

Oh, in answer to your other questions...

About $400.00 professionally installed w/ alignment.
I could have done them myself, but didnot have the time when I go them. Plus the shop I use is around the corner from my work, its just too damn convienent.
I think I covered the rest in my post above, pic below sorry but its with my phone (2.0MP).

what brand did you go with? Ford Racing
how much did they lower the car? 1.5
how much were they? about 800 for shocks and springs
how do it affect the ride of the car? you rode in it what do you think? A stiffer ride for sure, but not to bad
are they easy to install yourself? Not bad, took a lil time
if you have anypictures can u post them? below

Thanks,

-Cameron-
1. Eibach Prokit
2. 1.5 inches
3. $148.00 shipped (e-bay)
4. Ride is "stiff" to say the least, esp. in front
5. 30 min for rear 1.5 hr for front (Taco Bill has a write up) Easy to do, don`t even need a spring compressor for the Prokit

EDIT: If your car has the "chuckle" front end noise, buy the revised bearing plate/mount from Ford and install while you have the strut apart.
Have to agree here. I have this setup with staggered 20"s. Rides like an angry hooker but handles and looks finished.

Eibach sportlines 1.5" front 2" back....just springs on mine nothing else. My geometry is fine, but my kidneys sometimes hurt[&:]

That is an absolutely ignorant statement. The geometry is absolutely out of whack and your kidneys sometimes hurt BECAUSE you only did springs. You may as well have cut the stockers and saved your $200

springs (Steeda sport or H&R sport), dampers (Tokico, Koni, Bilstein), panhard bar (adjustable), camber bolts (cheap), swaybars if you must (adjustable, cheap)

start there.
