try to stay away from chrome anything!
I accidentally got the armrest covers in chrome and every passenger leaves finger prints instantly!
Got to figure out a way to scratch it so it looks like satin. Steel wool pads?

Stick with satin if you can!

I mixed a little and really like the results but my dash is mixed already so it flowed. The vast majority of my stuff is brushed though.

I wouldn't put anything in the car. I think it makes it look tacky.

If you must though, go with brushed. The chrome just gets fugly quick.
+1
the chrome will blind you when the sun hits itjust right.....[:@]

I don't have the IUP -- just stockblack interior with chrome around the vents -- and I decided to stay with the chrome trim theme. Bought some chrome pieces from MGW and absolutely love the finish. Personally I don't like the brushed/satin look, but like others said here, they don't like chrome for their own personal reasons. That's the key -- do what YOU want. If you don't have the IUP (and it sounds like you don't) then you don't have ANYTHING in your interior that's brushed....so to me, why add it if you can just accent the little bits of chrome that are there. Again though, it's your call. Whatever YOU do, YOUwill like.

Brushed. To much chrome on a Grey/Alloy car can look over done..... IMO

Dont get that cupholder. There's a better one without the center piece. I still have a quarter down in the bottom I haven't been able to dig out!
Have you seen this one:

I can't tell if it's polished or chrome-like.

The SHR piece goes in with velco for easy cleaning. Is your piece 3M tapped in or something?
