So have you guys actually done this? Not to sound like an ***, but on another forum I heard people say that these things could potentially blow up and it's not a good idea to pressurize PVC pipe. I would like to see a photo of this contraption and how you actually were able to pump 40 psi in the pipe and how you keep the air in.

Here goes. Air in pipe via a schrader valve just like your tires.
Use Schedule 40 or 80 PVC. Schedule 40 is good to 150psi.
All PVC pipe of any quality has theworking strength printed
on it. It also has a bursting strength much higher than the working pressure.
Clean all PVC before gluing. Allow to dry overnight before
airing up.
I have used 4" SCH40 for my potato guns and it holds up to
the 125PSI that I use to launch taters. So 38PSI is no problem
for SCH40 PVC. Believe it or not......

I'm confused. I changed my wheels to 18" Cragars and don't get any warning on the dash. I didn't reinstall the sensors. I wonder why.

Even though you push the button to reset the warning, you still have the other
warning light on the other side of the panel.

So what form does the warning take? The one that's not "the other warning light on the other side of the panel"?
Is the warning so obnoxious you can't stand it, or does it disable the car? If it's a light-only warning, what will it hurt to leave it on?
I understand American Muscle sells the bands for $16.95 or some such.

I read somewhere the Ford set comes in at $59.95 per wheel.
I'm likely to be putting on new wheels and tires without bands or sensors, very soon. Unless the effect of no TPMS is pretty extreme, I'm not going to throw away several hundred dollars to turn off a light.
