The Shelby Hood from the CS6 should clear your supercharger, too. It's a single reverse scoop instead of a dual.
That looks killer

couldnt you have a body shop (or do it yourself) cut out that section and put some sort of mesh grill in there?

I have always liked the 2" to 2 1/2" cowl hoods. But I will not get Fiberglass as I dont have a garage pout.

Anyone know where I can get a 2" or a 2 1/2" cowl metal, or one that would be best that gets hit by then sun all day??

You are not going to gain any performance with a heat extraction hood. It does help to keep engine bay temps down but likely not enough for you to notice. Every 10 F drop in intake temp is worth about 1 % more HP.

Check out the Trufiber hoods we sell. There are over 10 different models and we have them on sale. They are excellent hoods and the pricing can't be beat.

I have had the Steeda hood for almost 3 years now and is holding up well. It doesn't handle hydrolic hood lifts well but besides that all is well.

You could always get stronger rated hood shocks

You could always go with the TruFiber GTS2 hood and get a kick *** look to go along with it!

looks like a lot of the ram air hoods just bring cold air into the area of the air cleaner.. is there any that connect directly to the airbox in some fasion?
The crvinis one has a whole seperate add on contraption for ram air
