Turner vs. Turner
Hello all, I am new to mustang fourms and it seems like a good place to hangout. I purchased an 05 GT auto (black) off a lease....I love this car, hell even the Grandkids like it! Anyway to the point, I have decided on aCAI for my first upgrade and along with it atune. I am torn between Bama and Brenspeed, they both seemabout the same, althoughBama does offer an SCT "3" instead of "2" with there tunes. I would like some input as to which you all feel would be the best.

i've been waiting about 3 weeks for my JLT II, XCAL 3 and 93 octane tunes, from bama. I don't care about the wait, plus he does new tunes for free when you upgrade parts. At brenspeed you have to pay for the tune if you don't buy the part from them.

From what we're hearing, the SCT Xcal 3s are having issues. As far as who to
go with...I have Bama, but Brenspeed is also said to be awesome and a little quicker
with customer service. VMP is also another option. I'd definitely go with CAI/ Tuner
combo though.

That's some sorry wordplay, all right. Almost as sorry as "there tunes" and "no pic's yet". (smiley face)
I got the SCT 3 from B@M@ tunes. No issues. I got the impression Doug held back for a few days because of the amount of traffic, and to make sure he shipped machines with the latest updates.
The VMP guy is most helpful on the SCT forums.
No experience with Brenspeed.

I had the Brenspeed tune and have to admit their service was topnotch and the tune was spot on. Best tune is a custom dyno tune so once youget some more modsspend the extra cash and get a custom tune but for now either one of those guys are great.
