a 20-25 HP claim at the wheels is iffy, with all my mods i total out to 304 HP, i never baselined the car but with unless i baselined at like 240HP all my mods gave considerably less power than they claimed
Not really... if you have 304rwhp lets look at your mods
3.90- 0 hp
Violater Axle-Backs - Maybe 2hp
Motoblue UDPs - 8-10
Pypes Over axle pipes- 0 hp
Steeda CMCV deletes - 10 hp
Xcal2 93 Brenspeed tune
C&L Racer Intake
Pypes O/R H Pipe-5 hp
304 HP 314 TQ

All your mods without the C&L and tune equal to 25 rwhp tops... Manuals have (I beleive) 260 rwhp... if you said your at 304 rwhp... and you add all your mods up (I know that mods are not stackable like that) that would put you right at 300-305 rwhp if the C&L and tune got you 20-25 rwhp.[8D]

Interesting. I was thinking the same thing, I doubt the axlebacks would do anything for you though, ours flow pretty well, its our midpipe that has some restriction if any.

Btw Jay. How is the improvement in driveability with the tune, Ie throttle lag, response, idle, etc.

Driveability is waaaaaaaaaaaay better...the dreaded throttle lag is gone! It is a DEFINITE improvement from stock...obviously its not as drastic as a supercharger...but I LOVE it nonetheless... The best 650 I've ever spent

Spending $500 plus on a shop dyno tune for a 99% stock mustang is a horrible idea. Go with Brenspeed and forget about it. Mine arrives tomorrow and I'll hopefully be posting a success story.

strange that u only got 304 out of that... i got an Evolution tune, they claim 30-35 and, unless my headers did that much of a difference, but i mean u have cmcv udps... i dunno, Ive been thinking of switching to a Brenspeed tune becuase they are amazing people and have excellent customer service. But i dont wanna lose any horsepower and i dont really wanna spend the 75 to throw it on a dyno and see what the difference is between the tunes. Maybe someone will have a dyno day out here.
