you should have used a Red led
colors have a psychological effect and red is more of a warning effect
I had a blue LED in my '94 Firebird for the longest time and no one ever touched it. Came with a Viper alarm system.

you're gonna need a bigger cat. one like the cougar in talladega nights would suffice. unless they could hide their fear, like Ricky Bobby did. lol!!!!
Interesting you should say that. They've found that green color lasers for weapons are easier for the handler to see and mark but most depts stick with red due to the intimidation factor...

157db- do you know what wire color code or where the ford anti theft wire is that leads to the dash? i put red alarm leds in another car once just by taping into them.. looked pretty good. i don't want to rip out the whole dash just to find one wire...
The anti-theft system communicates with the cluster via a high speed CAN buss.
You cannot easily tap into this to hook a LED to. Its not just a wire as in the old
days. This is the computer age and the new Stangs are taking full advantage to
the ease of wiring multiple vehicle control systems together with CAN busses.
Its like a computer T-Base 100 network for a car.
Not very end user modifiable unless highly trained.
