Thinking about buying SLP axel-back when i get my mustang. I was just wondering if by removing the rear two mufflers, will i do any damage to my engine due to less backpressure? I have seen video's on youtube, and this simple set-up sounds great.

You won't do any damage and you don't need a retune. I think they sound awesome!

Definately don't cause any damage and they sound awesome by themselves. However, they don't sound that good if you go with longtubes and an offroad midpipe.

If you want that loud sound look into the PYPES muffler delete set up at american mustang, same design but abot 130 cheaper.... I just put them on mine and I love um

HadSLP Loudmouth axle backson my car for about year and love them. Get the Brenspeed tune and a CAI they will sound even better.

for you guys that have slp axle backs - how much of the tail pipe is sticking out the rear - can you read the slp on the tip - can swear mine have moved!!! i knowi used to be able to read the SLP print when i first installed them now on one of them i cant - i know im not going crazy
