Turbo badge/emblem help.
I would like to add something to the car that says it's turbo (not yet, but ordered and waiting on delivery) been thinking on adding an extra "T" to the "GT" emblems, making them a GTT but that will relate to a twin but it won't bea twin, then thought about adding something to the fake gas cap but don't know how or where to do it.
I want something very simple, I like the car as it is originally, just add the text to a pre-existant badge or somehing like that. I think the car is designed in a way that could not hold any extra badges, and that is why even Ford didn't sticked the blue oval emblem there. I tried to fix a Champcar sticker to the car once and just couldn't, it looked wrong everywhere, I ended fixing it to the license plate frame.
Any ideas? anyone know where to make this things?

The GTT emblem would be pretty easy. Here's how I would do it:
1. Buy 2 new GT emblems
2. Take the GT emblems off yout car
3. Cut the new emblems so you have a T
4. Using a high strength epoxy, glue the T to the GT
5. Using body filler, fill any areas as needed in order to connect the T to the T
6. Sand entire emblem
7. Paint emblem
The rear one would be a lot trickier, but you could probably buy letters that you could put over the GT emblem in the center. Of course you'd have to sand that part down and paint it to cover up the GT.
But you could paint the whole faux gas cap to match the fender emblems and then add GTT with stick0on letters. I think black would look sweet.

RE: Turbo badge/emblem help.
I just wentto a local graphics place and had some made. When block is installed and car is re-dynoed probably have the word Garrett replaced with "750 hp" or whatever it turns out to be.The car went beyond subtle or tasteful a long time ago, so slapping on a couple of decals was an easy choice.
Finally found a use for the too-tall cowl (2 inch was not available when I got the 4 inch)

Well, I thought bout that too, but is nice to brag about something , and actually I'm not into street racing you just couldn't believe what you could find in the streetscrazy and reeeeally dangerous people in this outlaw country. Actually the only nice street race I had since I own the car (a year now) was with a motorcycle, a KTM 950 adventure we went close to 200kmh side by side, nice guy, nice ride and nice race, he was astonished by the sound of my 'stang.
Souperdave, I have my brother in law that works (sometimes we work together) making dummies for tv ads and he knows about that stuff that you do with resin, sanding and painting, I'll ask him to help me out with this idea. I may go with the GTT one cause it ain't that obvious.
