TSB 07-18-2 Front Suspension Clunking, Anyone Had It Done & Does It Help?
With Ford's finally issuing the TSB for the front end clunking or chuckle noises, has the problem finally been solved? Has anyone had the work done and does it eliminate the noise? Sounds like they used some rubber in the new upper mount to isolate the noise. I love my Mustang!

Parts are on order right now, as soon as they come in ill take it to have them put on, although i know of at least one person who had the new struts put on, and still has the thunking, and is actually selling his car now because of it his handle on MF is northy_polk i believe.

I took my 07 GT/CS yesterday. The local dealership had the parts in stock and installed the new upper mounts. I really didn't realize how much the car was clunking over bumps. It sounds quiet and solid now.

Had mine done last July when they were first doing them. Clunk is back on the worst bumps, but not as bad as it was before the TSB.

my car pops (i guess cluncks) at the bottom of my driveway, is this the same thing? I get a very audible noise form somewhere under the car, definitely suspension related...

Good suggestion. That was the first thing that I thought of. They are nut bustin tight. It seems intermittent. I don't know if it is the hard winter rubber tires that just aren't flexably right now or if the strut mounts have weakend. Have to wait until all this rough ice melts away and see what it's like under "normal" conditions.

Is this tsb only for owners in the states o is it for all mustang owners around the world? What should i tell the stealership? Do u have a link to this tsb?
