if you can afford them both go that route especially if your a home owner. I cant count how many times I have seen someone @ home depot or Lowes trying to stuff a 2 x10 or something like that into a VW bug, mustang or whatever. I have an 04 F150 FX4 and my stang. I made a mistake one time and sold another nice pickup for a car and I can tell you that wont happen again. When we want to go bike riding or something, just load up all the bikes in the truck and thats it. Yes I pay alot for car payments but it's only for 5 years. Just my thoughts.

I went from a 01 Supercrew 4x4 with large tires on it. I average about the same as you. I now drive a V-6 as my DD and kept the truck.I already hadthe GT pictured. Don't think I could do without it either and I don't use mine that much either. The GT is much more fun to drive than the F-150, but a fast truck can be fun too. Keep it if you can aford it

I worked at a Ford dealership when I bought mine. For 2 months straight I would not stop thinking about a Lariat supercrew or an fx4 Lariat. When it was time for me to buy a fellow buddy of mine told me I should buy a mustang. It was after an early sales meeting I got my lockbox key went over to the stang of my choice drove it for about 10 mins came back and began the paper work and sold myself the stang. For 2 months straight I wouldnt shut up about the Lariat all it took was 10 mins And now I'm begining to develope wrinkles because the stang makes me grin so much. I would not have had this much fun in the truck..

I did go from a truck to a Stang, but kept the truck.
Sorry, I love my F150 (01, 5.4). It's so convenient.

I suggest getting the stang and maybe buying a used 4 or 6cyl Ranger. Like a 2002-04.

Thats a nice truck, but once you get a stang you'll ask yourself why hadn't you done it sooner.
If you need to haul stuff just borrow someone elses truck. The fun of a mustang more than makes up for that minor inconvience of needing to haul stuff once and awhile.
