Gas Change
Hello,
I know there are tons of post like this. Trust me i tried using the search tool but is not working.
So i want to change my gas, im using right now 87 octanes (In mexico we only have 87 and 92) so on december i will order my CAI in Brenspeed and with 3 tunes one of them of 92 so i want to start using 92 octane gas.
Which are the recommendations to do this just empty the tank ?

RE: Gas Change
I'd wait until you get that tune, then empty it as much as you can and fill up with the 92 octane and THEN tune the car at the gas station. Thats what I did when I switched over to 93 and it turned out great

Yes, tons of posts...
The idea is is tonot have the octane in your tankbe below the octane of your tune. I doubt you truly want to "empty" your tank so consider it safe to run it as low as say less than 1/4 of a tank, fill-up with 92 then run it down again and refill. Assuming what you put in is dead-to-nutz 92 octane, then what little you'll be below (perhaps about 91.5) can usually be compensated for by the computer.
