I have been searching as most have done to try and find the perfect sound. Everyone has their own idea of what they want. I am leaning towards the FRPP stingers. I plan on getting the Pypes o/r H to go with it. My question is, does anyone know the difference in the FRPP stingers and the SLP powerflows? They have similar designs ecxept for the tips, SLP is 4" and the stingers are 3 1/2". I know tips wont have much effect, I am interested in the sound and loudness. From what I have found, the SLP run about 30 dollars less.

With the SLP having a near identical design to FRPP stingers and close price, no one has heard or bought this exhaust yet??

Frpp stingers and the slp powerflos don't sound like each other at all. I have the setup your thinking about. The pypes o/r h and stingers. As far as sound and loudness, haven't heard the powerflos in person. But the stingers are deep, not real loud, have a lot of drone, less drone once you add the o/r, tips look real good when new, but they corrode way too fast.

a lot of info on diff set ups, btw ever check borla instead of frpp same muff about 30 bucks cheaper

Thanks. I didn't know Borla actually cost less, I will check it out.

Borla "S" type are basically the same as the FRPP stingers, but the Borlas are more expensive (not the other way around). The Borlas have 4" tips and the FRPP stingers have 3.5". Other than that, and the different logos embossed on the mufflers and tips, they are the same.

I have the pypes o/r h and the borla stingers (borla "s-type") and absolutely love the combo....they are aggressively deep and the h makes em a LOT louder.....the sound isnt like slp loudmouth with the raspiness to it.....the tone doesnt stay the same as you accelerate, the tone changes as your rpms change....low rpms will yield a deep rumble and the higher rpms will yield a slightly higher pitched deep rumble and sounds awesome....just my opinion......

i love it when im driving between buildings or next to baracades cause ill hit the exhaust and let em sing for me.........

also, the borla are about $50 more than the frpp and i havent had any problems with tip corrosion.....
