Default Playin with a Saleen Parnelli Jones

On the way to Elizabeth park here in Michigan, I saw this
Saleen. I was following him for a while checkin out his rear end.
lol He lit 'em up a few times, I followed.
I decided to do a fly-by, see if he wanted to play.
Yep ! He did.
We both took off at the light. I stomped it, squawked 'em in
first, then in second. He did the same.
He was right up next to me, but he didn't pass me...
I guess he didn't want to blow me away. (mind u I have a v6)
He stayed right at my passenger side window.
We were flying down West Jefferson.
We both had to slow down, he rolled his window down,
asked us if we were going to the park. We told him yeah and that was it.
We cruised through the park and he left. We stayed to take pictures.
That was a blast.
What a beautiful car, and a cool guy.

Are you sure it was a PJ or just a Saleen Heritage Edition. The Ford dealership at Gratiot and 23 Mile has a ton of them. I thought they were all PJ's, but I stopped by there on Friday to check one out. Theyre not, PJ, they're called Heritage Edition or some BS like that. They still have the 4.6L, sticker said 330hp. They cost about 42k, not worth it IMO.

That was the fun part of the weekend.
On Friday night Ibowl on a league. Came out
after bowling, to handprints all over my hood,
some shoe marks scratched into my bumper,
and a long blond hair on the hood.
It's like someone was sitting on the hood with their foot on the bumper,
and some other dumba** standing in front of the car, leaning trying to touch
the windshield and making lots of handprints all over the hood.
I couldn't believe it. I swear I could see them from 15 feet away !
I know it happened while we were bowling because I
wiped the car down before we left the house.
I went inside to see if they had any cameras in the parking lot.
Couldn't get that lucky. The lady at the counter said she was watching
some teenagers bowling at the end, andhad a feeling she should keep
an eye on them. One of the girls had long blond hair. By the time I was leaving
they were already gone.. Saturday morning I got a good look at it. It has an inch
and a half dull scratch on one of the hood stripes. And ground in sneaker
scratches in the bumper, on the stripes and in between on the paint.
Any way to get the scratches out? Bought some rubbing compound.
I guess we will try that. Check out the bumper pic.
I'll be looking for them kids next week.........[sm=badbadbad.gif]
