Superstripe and recessed front license plate spot :-(

that was my other thread.....but now i found out i need a new bumper without the front recessed spot to put the stripe from bumper to bumper. :-( where can I find a v6 screaming yellow one? (this is all if I can find a shop to put it on since they all dont want to tackle the superstripe on our cars because of the hood.)

i havent seen one :-(
i should've bought one last year from new take off when they had my color.....so the gts dont have that recessed space right?

Stupid question, but here goes....
Have you contacted Rob over at Baltimore Street Mods to see if he has the V6 bumper piece for the Superstripe? I find it hard to believe he would not........And it will certainly be a lot less expensive than a bumper......

well when he sold me the parts and that it came with two sets of front bumper but according to the above statement, i cant put the front piece on since i have a recessed license plate spot :-(

I think the reason it comes with two front bumper pieces is so you can screw up one, and install the other. I would contact him and ask about a V6 front bumper piece. I know JimC did his own front bumper, and he has a V6. But I am not sure if he did a bumper swap or not....
Also, I cannot believe no shop will approach this stripe. I did my own, and I have never done stripes in my life. Easy? No, not really....Do-able? Yes, very.....Just cannot believe a stripe shop would not do it.......[:@][:@]

I might be able to help you out as I have a brand new, less than 2k miles screaming yellow front bumper, w/ lower grill, possibly upper grill and the foam bumper insert support to mate with the GT bumper. No scratches or scuffs.

yea ive been 8 shops and some of which are expert car wraps places and they've all turned me down because of the curve in the front hood and the bumper.....and im like? u can do complete car wraps and cant do those two pieces? wth man!? lol it stinks
