I stick with places I know have their own wherehouse like Lethal Performance. They order a big amount and usually have it on hand and can ship right away.

Places like these are usually drop shippers. They don't carry the stock. They have deals with the manufacturers, and once they get the order, then they go and order through the manufacturers. If the manufacturers don't have enough in stock, then they have to build it and you wait.

I may pay a little more, but know I am getting the service with it.

Yea, I won a grill from them.
It took 3 tries and 3 months
before I received one that had
the tabs intact. Slow resopnses
to eMails and a non-existant phone
# make them untouchable. You'll
get your stuff but only when they
get around to sending it. They dont
have anything in stock and have to
order it after you order it and pay for it.[:@]
Its just a front for a non-stocking reseller.

Very True. While I was being told my fuel door was "out of stock", they were still running a buy it now on EBay for the same item. When I questioned this via E Mail, well, let's just say they KNOW how to ignore inquiries........As I said earlier....NEVER AGAIN!!! Asshats.........

What companies do you know that drop ship? I am just curious.

Thanks for the update. To be honest they seem pretty solid to me. They always answer my calls, and their is no machine or recording.

Guy said they had just finished painting and I'd get my scoops in about 3 days. So that makes the total time from ordering to being at your door to 3 weeks.

As far as I'm concerned if they do a great paintjob on them, than it's worth the extra time. I've ordered pre-painted parts from other companiesthat had plenty of dimples and primer-spots showing.

I'm very suprised. That's great.

a lot of "pre-painted" parts are sprayed as quick as possible and thrown in the mail without a lot of effort.

If the painting is as good as you say on my Xenon scoops, I will definitely order more parts from autoaccesory.

Please don't take offense man.

But how hard is it to paint a 4inch square part?
I wouldn't use them again because their service sucks. Too much competition out there...
I'll pay a few Dollars more to have my sh#t within a couple of days.
What's the point of getting your parts when your hair's falling off in a nursing home.

paint no matter how small the peice is, takes some skill so they get my vote. We will see with ThaiCobra's side scoops they are about as big a painted peice you can get in the mail as hoods or body kits would warp and bend so bleh we shall see...
