Default Heated seat ?

Have any of you electrical genuises figured out how tomodify the seat htr`s for continuous operation ? i.e. eliminate the ten minute "timer".

Not true. No difference in pushing back on the rear window defroster.

My guess is that nobody wants a "sweaty ***" , however, last convertible I had, the seats had a high & low setting and leaving them "on" on a cool night with the top down was downright enjoyable. Or maybe, the passenger (spelled w-i-f-e) could be at her desired temp without making the entire cabin hot. Many cars do indeed allow you leave the seats on.

My wife Lexus does have electric seats that stay on as long as the switch is set to on.[sm=badbadbad.gif]

My 92 Saab has heated seats that only come on once the temperature is below a certain threshold. There are three settings that keep the seat at a given temp for as long as you want.

Used my heated seat for the first time really-- the weather finally cooperated ! Why would you want it on continuously? Cooking something?
