Default Anyone actually radar their top speed?

I meant to post about this months ago but laziness got the best of me. Well, making a long stoy short, a police officer friend of mine came to visit from out of state and I thought it would be fun to do a top speed test with his radar. There was a perfect abandoned road near me thats flat, straight, and goes for miles so I thought it would be ideal. Anyway, I clocked at 163. My mods are in my signature and I'd say they're pretty modest. Thats when I still had 3.55's btw. He thought it was right but I was surprised. I didn't know they could go that fast, do you think it could have been calibrated wrong?

Maybe lowering kits make us a little more aerodynamic?

160+ is very possible. There have been cars with slightly modified front and rear bumpers doing 190+ and more power of course....

According to that spec sheet that was floating around here a while back, 190 is obtainable hypothetically, with the stock HP that we have and with the gearing. The one limiter was the wind resistance.

Well, your top speed is going to be slower after the gear swap but that's still faster than I've taken mine up to. I've stopped at the last mark on the speedometer when it was still stock.
