Just got mine back from the painter. He said the same thing about them soaking up the paint. When I get my car back over the weekend, I will install.

Most experienced painters will most likely not follow the instruction from Cervini. Every painter I know, already knows how to paint urethane and feels they don't need to be told how to prep urethane for paint. Usually they feel they already know the "best" way and that what they do. The urethane from Cervini is the greasiest I've ever seen but it's also the best quality parts I've seen as far as fitment, even puor and no bubbles. -Joe
