I am 2 hours away from going on a test drive in a manual 2005 mustang GT. The car has 30500 miles on it, and I was wondering if you could give me some pointers to look for to see if the car was treated alright. This is going to be my first mustang purchase, so I want to make sure everything goes right.I know the obvious signs like trany slip, and bald rear tires... anything else to be cautious of, or take a special look at? Any sound I should be listening for?

Listen for rattles. Look for leaks. Look under the oil cap and make sure it is clean and no milky substance. Ck tire wear. Ask who drove it and where. Get a car fax and see if it was in an accident. Look under hood on fenders for over spray. Make sure the car doesnt pull to one side while driving. Make sure their is no must smeel inside, that would be a sign of a water leak. Ask to see the maint history.
