So you think if I went to a good shop and spoke to the welder, he could do the job for around 1,000$

I'm only talking about a little more aggresive lip, not more than 2 inches in the middle section.

I don't get this wholedesign at all but for most shops you wouldneedexact prototype piece(s) done up in white poster board or similar. These will be copied/fabricated in metal and then fit and welded to the stang body. No, this cannot be done for a $1000. Before you shop around and get prices you'll need the prototype or CAD drawings. If you wanted an exact copy of the CDC ducktail done in steel, seamless to the stang body I think you would find prices around $3k to $4k.(Removal later should you want to [have to] would benosmall taskeither)One reason I thought at one time of taking the time to do this myself was that noone would ever pay for such a mod. At least the CDC ducktail is a great retro design for the car; what you are coming up with on the other handis just awful IMO and you should putit out of your head now andcome up withother ideas. [:'(]
